Relax and Enjoy in Montenegro
1/10The capital of Montenegro, Podgorica, is perfectly positioned at the crossroads between the Adriatic coast and the country’s scenic interior, making it an ideal base for a relaxed yet enriching stay. As the nation’s main administrative and cultural center, the city offers easy access to both mountain resorts in the north and Adriatic seaside escapes.
Visitors can enjoy a blend of cultural heritage, archaeological sites, monuments, and museums, along with nearby national parks, rivers, canyons, and panoramic bridges. Podgorica is also well suited for light adventure, outdoor activities, and discovering authentic Montenegrin cuisine and wines.
A highlight of the region is “13. Jul Plantaže”, one of Europe’s largest vineyards, covering more than 2,300 hectares. The famous Šipčanik Wine Cellar, a unique underground wine complex, offers an unforgettable tasting experience with the rich aromas and flavors of Montenegro’s finest wines.
