Day Wise Itinerary
Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, you will be warmly greeted by our representative. Begin your scenic drive towards Cherrapunji, passing through beautiful hills, valleys, and lush greenery of Meghalaya. Enjoy the refreshing climate and panoramic views along the journey. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure, soaking in the serene surroundings. Overnight stay in Cherrapunji
After an early breakfast, proceed to Tyrna Village, the starting point of your trek. Begin your adventurous descent through stone steps surrounded by dense forests, streams, and picturesque landscapes. Pass through traditional Khasi villages and enjoy the natural beauty as you make your way to Nongriat Village. Here, witness the incredible Double Decker Living Root Bridge, a unique bio-engineered structure formed by intertwining roots over centuries. You may also enjoy a refreshing dip in the nearby natural pools before beginning your return trek to Tyrna Village. After the trek, transfer back to your hotel and relax after a fulfilling day. After breakfast, check out from the hotel. If time permits, you may revisit the sacred Kamakhya Temple or explore nearby markets. Later, transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
